These Terms govern access to PiEED.com and its directory, account, review, communication and marketplace features. By using PiEED or submitting information, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
PiEED’s role
PiEED is an independent contractor directory and communication platform. PiEED does not perform, supervise, inspect, price, warrant or guarantee contractor services. Contractors are independent businesses, not employees, agents or representatives of PiEED. PiEED is not a party to agreements between customers and contractors.
Users must independently evaluate contractors, quotes and work. Verify identity, licensing, insurance, permits, references, scope, pricing, contracts and payment terms directly with the contractor and relevant authorities.
Contractor accounts and listings
Contractors must provide accurate, current and lawful information and keep account credentials secure. A contractor may not impersonate another person or business, claim credentials it does not hold, misrepresent service areas, create deceptive duplicate listings or use PiEED for unlawful services.
PiEED may verify, edit for formatting, moderate, reject, suspend, unpublish or remove accounts and listings. Approval or a verification indicator does not guarantee quality, licensing status, insurance coverage, background, availability or future performance.
Photos and submitted content
You retain responsibility for content you submit. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it. You grant PiEED a nonexclusive license to host, reproduce, format and display that content as needed to operate and promote the directory.
Direct leads and Customer Request Marketplace
Customers may contact a listed contractor directly or submit a request for matching. Submitting a request does not guarantee responses, estimates, availability or completion. Expressing interest does not guarantee a contractor a job. Contact information obtained through PiEED may be used only to respond to the relevant inquiry unless the person separately authorizes additional marketing.
Users must not submit emergency requests through PiEED. For an immediate threat to life, safety or property, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified local provider directly.
Reviews, responses and reports
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain knowingly false statements, threats, harassment, spam, conflicts of interest, unlawful content or unnecessary private information. Contractors may submit professional responses. PiEED may require email confirmation, moderate submissions, delay publication, reject content, resolve reports or remove content.
Featured placement
Some listings may receive paid or promotional placement and will be identified as featured or sponsored where applicable. Placement affects visibility but is not an endorsement or guarantee of the business.
Acceptable use
You may not use PiEED to:
- Send spam, scrape or harvest personal information, or add leads to unrelated marketing lists.
- Upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls or disrupt the platform.
- Submit fraudulent requests, reviews, credentials, photos or business information.
- Harass others, violate privacy, infringe intellectual property or break applicable law.
- Resell or republish PiEED data in bulk without written permission.
Platform availability and changes
PiEED may change, limit, suspend or discontinue features. Directory information can become outdated, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Users are responsible for keeping independent copies of information they need.
Disclaimers and limitation
PiEED and its content are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. PiEED disclaims warranties regarding accuracy, suitability, contractor performance, results, availability and third-party services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiEED is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, property damage, personal injury or disputes arising from a contractor relationship or use of the platform.
Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Responsibility for misuse
You are responsible for your use of PiEED and content you submit. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to protect PiEED from claims and costs arising from your unlawful use, your submitted content, your contractor services or your violation of these Terms.
Suspension and termination
PiEED may restrict or terminate access for suspected fraud, security risk, abuse, legal exposure or violations of these Terms. Contractors may request account closure through the Data & Privacy center. Closure does not automatically remove records that PiEED may lawfully retain.
Changes to these Terms
PiEED may update these Terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
